Don't you hate it when.....

You buy a cute watch, wear it every day and then look down one day and realize the watch that was once silver is now two tone because it was fake and the 'silver' has worn away?

I jumped on the blogs to catch up and looked down to see what time it was and noticed my now two tone watch. Urg....actually the watch I had, up until a few months ago, Michael gave me right after I had Jacob. I guess it lasted long enough. I thought it was the battery that needed replacing, but when I did replace the battery and it did not start ticking and was then told it would probably cost more to figure out what the problem was than to replace it, I decided to look for another watch. I found an inexpensive (obviously) one at Belk a few months ago. Oh well.

Is there really a need for watches anymore? We all have cell phones that display the time. I spend a good majority of my time in front of a computer, at work, that displays the time. I have a clock in my car, on my nightstand, on my microwave and even on my stove. However, I've worn a watch for at least 20 years and when I forget to wear it, I feel like I'm missing something. Actually, I feel that way about earrings, too.

Do you have something that you HAVE to wear?

Have you thought of trying a bracelet until you get used to not having a watch?

I have to wear earrings, but I'm lazy and wear the same solid gold pair all the time, waking and sleeping.

Nopers. I'm a free spirit....I don't wear anything.....

Something stinks in my house and I can't figure out where it's coming from. It's really driving me crazy?

I think it's funny that you don't like the two tone watch. I actually hunted for some time until I could find a two tone watch and here all I had to do was go to Belk and then let mine wear out.
I can't be without a watch. If I don't wear it I am looking at my wrist all day and getting annoyed.
Melissa, I bet Robin could figure out your smell. One time she kept insisting she smelled a dead animal in Boca....Jason thought she was crazy...and sure enough there was a dead bird outside.

She has "the nose".
